It's a real shame
That we've made it so complicated
When all that really matters
Is God's love for us all

And it's a real waste
Putting so much of our energy
Into doctrine and controversies
When we could be getting to know the Saviour

So let's get up and walk in the love he's poured into us
Delighting in the grace overshadowing our lives
Shining with his light for all the world to see
Loving with our heart and soul
Giving with our mind and will
And living every day to know Jesus more
